    Gentlemen:

I recently discovered your excellent program, TerraForm. I have been looking for a *nix alternative to TerraGen for a while, but just recently got serious in my search efforts, and was rewarded when I found TerraForm. Unfortunately, it seems that development has stopped, because the latest source code release is 0.9.0 dated April, 2002. Nevertheless, after some preparatory work, I was able to successfully configure, compile, and install TerraForm, and it has been performing wonderfully! (Linux 2.6.20-1.2952.fc6 #1 SMP Wed May 16 18:59:18 EDT 2007 i686 athlon i386 GNU/Linux) I am so impressed that I wrote a review on Fedora Forums (http://forum.fedoraforum.org/forum/showthread.php?t=160238).

I realize that many people actually have their own lives, and move on. But I hope that you will consider continuing development of TerraForm. Beyond this humble encouragement, there is little that I can do to help: I am not a programmer, nor am I very experienced with Linux. I consider it a personal accomplishment that I was able to successfully install your application from source code (in fact, I used the resources on my machine to package it as an RPM). I can, of course, provide continuing feedback about TerraForm's performance, if you wish. If there is any other way that I can implore/beg/cajole/ you to continue development, please let me know.

I hope that this message reaches you, and finds you well.

    Regards,
