  • Alright, Considering a Rebirth

I am reviewing this plug-in and considering ways to bring it back to life. I really like the idea of what it was supposed to be and I still think it can be useful. I may rebuild this project site or I may move development over to my EclipseFrills (http://eclipsefrills.sourceforge.net) project and make this another one of the frills... though this project is bigger than the frills... so may be I will just keep it here. There is much to be determined and I want to get a 1.0 release of that plug-in out before I get into this one too much.

  • Project Closing

After much thought and consideration, I have decided to close down this project. If you are interested in tagging functionality, I use and recommend TagSea (http://tagsea.sourceforge.net). If you are looking for some of the other added goodies that this plug-in provided, please take a look at my Eclipse Frills project: http://eclipsefrills.sourceforge.net. If anyone is actively using this plug-in and would like to take over development, please contact me and we can talk about the issues leading to this closure. It was a fun project and a great learning experience. I will keep the project sites up for a while, until I find a better use for them.

  • Stepping Away for a Bit

I am putting the next release of the Tagger Plug-in on hold. I have some other things I am working on and I felt that I was not giving the next release the brain-power it deserved. If anyone is interested in joining me on this project, I will consider adding some helpers... just drop me an email to cjstehno@users.sourceforge.net with your java and eclipse plug-in experience... and what you would like to see done with the project. Please realize that this project is not dead, just resting for a bit... I will come back to it with or without additional helpers.
