Hello,
I have just bought an Intuos 2 and discovered it has a PC serial port instead of an USB port (didn't even know there were some non-USB versions).
I am trying to use it under my MacBook Pro running MacOS 10.4.11 without success.
I have an unbranded serial-to-USB adapter but I cannot find any suitable driver as the vendor appears with the following vendor code in System Profiler: 0x1a86 and I've read somewhere that this code corresponds to an unindentified vendor.
I have tried several drivers found here and there but I see no change. Therefore I have ordered the serial to USB adapter from Maplin because it has been reported to work.
However, I'd like to know if anyone has a similar configuration running properly otherwise I'd better sell my tablet and buy a USB version.
Maybe someone could tell me what data are supposed to be displayed in System Profiler with a working serial-to-USB adapter ?
