    Hey there, guys.

Brought this adapter straight from a factory union in China with the promise of Linux drivers. So far, it's been a week, and no word from the Chinese engineers yet. I came across this forum searching for other people's work, and it seems that good progress has been made on this card.

I've checked out the latest SVN version and applied Ben's NTSC patch. Xawtv, which plays just about any stream that I've thrown at it, gives a message that says

libv4l2: error setting pixformat: resource temporarily unavailable.

    Mplayer similarly replies with

v4l2: ioctl set format failed: resource temporarily unavailable

    dmesg says:

stk11xx: select video mode failed !

along with several frame buffer overflow errors.

Unfortunately, I'm an applications developer and not a kernel developer, so debugging these messages would take quite some time for me. Is there anything that I could do to help someone who knows a bit more than I do to get this driver working?
