Yongha Hwang and Sungsoon Cho from the University of Michigan have submitted a new version of the Syntax2D source code with optimizations that result in a significant speed increase in calculation (at least 5x faster). If you are interested in trying ...
Major revisions to the software. Many asked for features including a new DXF import menu and axial line auto-generation. Please report any bugs to the tracker.
Major changes have been made in: - User interface - DXF import menu - Unit display - Axial line generation 1) Generate All Line Axial Map 2) Generate Reduced Axial Map In addition, two experimental measures are proposed (bidirectional min/max ...
For changes, see Syntax 2D 1.3.0.6 .EXE notes.
Minor Bug fix to axial analysis and feature additions: export analysis results for all paths and changes to the 'Create Observation Points' dialog under the Path menu.
Minor bug fix (axial analysis) Export analysis results for all paths - This function also performs path analysis. Therefore it may take some additional time depending on the total number of observation points. A checkbox added to the 'Create ...
Updated the program so that it gives a summary of the isovist subdivision. Try the summary button in the subdivision dialog. In the summary, tabs used as a separator. They will make the copy-and-paste job easier when you are using Excel.
Minor fix: Now calculates the path count correctly even when some paths have zero-length edges.
