This seems to only happen when both the source and destination files have changed (and maybe are read only).
I can say that, because I have solved the issue by completely delete the destination files and copied from source again.

I get that error when de destination file is read only. Try changing this attribute.
Perhaps if the error message was "Destination file is read only" ....

DST just started (or ended, never know which) and when I went to syncronize my work to an USB disk, I've found out that synkron wanted to copy almost all files (the ones I didn't have changed in the meantime) from tha USB back to the PC, because the files on the PC were older...

I like Synkron and use it to keep my notebook in sync with the desktop. Syncing the Thunderbird profile, however, takes incredibly long since a huge 2 GB file is always transferred.
My suggestion is to introduce a differential file transfer that copies only those parts of a file that have actually changed. Unison and rsync do so and have algorithms for this. I know it's a demanding request...

When closing a tab, an empty syncdb is created even though it isn't needed (for example when cloning a source folder).
