The software is still available to download and install... I am searching for some support too. Since its opensource, there should be some help out there. What do you need help with? I am trying to install onto a Linux Fedora Core system but I am having problems. It can also be installed using Windows. What platform are you trying to use?

Hello and good day. I have downloaded and tried to install synchronet BBS for linux (fedora core 5). Everything goes well until it's supposed to create directories for the /exec, make baja dir, etc. I thought the USE_CURSES was causing a problem so I checked every GNUMakefile for SBBS and there is no occurrence of USE_CURSES to remove in any of the files. SSH support would be excelent - either through true
SSH server support or through some stub login program
that can be set up to pass the IP and other info.
Particularly on the Unix side of things. :)
