Synching Thunder is designed as an application that synchronizes Mozilla Thunderbird mail between different mailboxes. A typical usage example would be keeping mail on a laptop in synch with mail on a desktop PC.

Ok, it's probably been obvious to some people on the forums for a while, but I thought I should make it official: I am no longer working on or planning to work on Synching Thunder in the future. The why is easy: you code open source software because you enjoy it and because you have time to do it. I no longer enjoy, or have time to work on this project, so it's not really fair that I keep getting peoples hopes up promising to fix things that in reality, I can't or don't have time to do. There were some more translations and fixes in the pipeline, and some of those are in CVS, but others I never got time to do. Thanks to all who have downloaded and played with Synching Thunder, it was a nice idea, but perhaps flawed in it's design from the beginning. Adios Amigos. Rusty p.s. If someone out there wants to take this project on, feel free to take the source code or idea and make your own product. I'd be more than happy to link to your site if you let me know.
