No, it's not solved - about 50% of the time, 'Save as...' kills sweep with the same error message.

I feel bad about all this things ocurring. If I'm to blame, just tell me!
I loaded a (rather large) mp3 file into sweep, and while it was loading, many messages appeared. One of the songs was truncated. I re-downloaded the mp3-file from the 'net, tried again, same result. Played the file with mpg123, checked at the same offset, but I can find any problem (no clicks, stops)
Even with mpg123...

There seems to be an error in the Revert logic. Admittedly somewhat hidden, but this happened:
I was editing a sound file, found that there was a problem (CRC) in it, and downloaded the file again.
As the editor was still open, I clicked on 'Revert' to reload the file. Sweep intelligently detected that the disk file had changed, and offered to continue editing, or 'ReRead from Disk'...

Hello people.
Just compiled and installed version 0.9.3 (only needed to install the latest libsamplerate library). The program seemed to work fine - it loads files, selects, copies, plays correctly.
When I copied a section, and 'Pasted as new', this worked fine too, but when doing a Save as..., using the WAV 16bit signed stereo format, Sweep just disappeared.
On the console this message...

Your program is really great, but is there anyway to snap to the record cursor or is it called recorder line. Is their a short cut key that snaps to the recording line, as the audio is being played. At the moment I'm using Pgup and Pgdown and home and end, but it's not very accurate like this:)

Hi,
I managed to setup Sweep - i.e. Playback/Configure Audio Device/main device - for on line recording. (looks to be the only setup to do).
With alsa, only plughw:0,0 seems to be available with one sound card (82801DB ICH4 intel).
How can one record on line?
On line datas can be heard from speakers. But displayed sound remains quiet.
Which setup to do on Sweep? or on Alsa?
