This project isnt dead. No, it isnt. Developers are inactive and busy with their daily life, so they cant develop this full time of day. Also, I moved this project off from sourceforge to private scm to mature. As we dont currently really offer anything but dummy gui, there is no real reason keep this on. Because it seems that someone has visited there, I wont remove this project page until I get to build better web site for swaste. About actual project status: Im more or less developing this alone, and just continued after year pause. I refactored code and got stuck ipc stuff, but hopefully Ill soon manage to clear and get my hands full of actual network protocol. Base ideas are all ready. It just needs to be implemented. Currently Im going to build separate server and gui, that users can run swaste even without having its gui on(users wont get disconnected if their X crashed, i.e). More I think current gui, more stupid it starts to seem. So, Im going to build it again, too. You could say this project has just started. Were completely in the beginning. Current repository for swaste is git://smar.fi/swas.git. Please be gentle to my server. All kind of help is appreciated. The end and hopefully last piece of news to SF.
I've quite much started to develop swaste again... And I moved repository already to the git repo. Please give me some time and I'll update site to correct place and refine everything.. In case some is really watching this puny project. Anyway, we are really moving forward, it won't be long time that file transfer will work properly. I'll release some kind of tech preview, that is not too secure, but will work. Labeled to version 0.0. So, we'll move off from sourceforge, kinda moved already.
