I am from China,and I am very intresting about the surfit project.But I am puzzled with it about why it has Not a version of alone pack? In other means: A pure interface about C++ (C) language.
So I want to join the Project to do something about this.
I think it's very important and meanful work.

I can't get any saved file not only run dem.tcl directly but also under the surfit_cmd. beside of the surf_save* command line, anything else works hardly.
Is there some kind of bug?

With the Surfit_cmd software,I input the command lines as dem.tcl step by step.It works well before the last cmd line "surf_save" or "surf_save_bmp" and so on. After I input the last cmd line,nothing I can get. Is there some kind of bug?
Windows Xp Sp3,Visual C++ 2005.Source code revision 1261.

I like surfit very much,bus there have some troubles for me to use it.
I want use surfit process lots of scatter points to generate some grids. But I can't compile the cource code successfully because of lacking of tcl.h head file and tal.lib library. Since there have dll files,can I use these dll files in my project directly but not using tcl cmd line?

Hello all,
I checked out surfit and compiled it under Ubuntu linux hardy. Everything went smoothly.
Secondly I tried to compile surfit4saga importing the project into codeblocks. After removing a few header dependancy problems I received the following error message

Install Tcl separately. Make sure the environment variables are added correctly
-> check from dos prompt if tclsh.exe works from any directory
install surfit / ignore the tcl installation step.
