Super OS is "The Best Linux" for someone who's making a transition from Windows. I'm using the 10.10 LTS from Hacktolive, it loaded flawlessly. All drivers installed perfectly, hardware and Wifi installation was perfect. Flash for firefox, Google Chrome, VLC, Picasa, Inkscape all in a single installation. The only installation I did was SM player, PSPP for statistics and my Genius Ipen pen tablet installation. But that was easy. I changed from open office to libreoffice which was unnecessary, frankly I don't see the difference. With Super OS you are road ready. I never had a system crash, virus attack and I'm off antivirus. I'm into Super OS since 20 months and I've never been better. If you don't want the transition from Windows, atleast you could have it on a pendrive and use to boot and recover data when your system crashes. I strongly recommend because with linux around you don't have to lose any data unless your hard disk is fried. I have nothing against Windows, I just liked Mark Shuttleworth's idea of a free world. The two things that keep professionals using Windows is the robust Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop and SPSS for stats and I don't deny it myself. I dared to live without these and I find myself content. Above all don't use pirated software, It's a crime and someday you'll pay dearly. Pick up any linux that might suit you, you don't have to be a geek to use linux!!! Just someone willing to take the plunge like me. I a lot of research, tried a dozen of linux and on that happy day, I found Super OS.
