Sunscape is a PPC mobile devices screen saver and locker written in C# comparable to the iPhone slide to unlock feature. The main goals are to keep Sunscape completely configurable to the user as well as maintaining a low memory footprint.

0.4 - Switched to SVN and snapshot system. - Added signal gadget. - Revamped code, cleaner, tidier, faster... - Added application exceptions: you can set when Sunscape won't lock the screen. Useful, ie: a GPS application is running and you wan't Sunscape to play nice and not lock the screen. - Switched to our own process manager, bye bye PID files! - Added Sunscape-effect for real time wallpaper transitions. - Added single color transparency. - Added volume gauge. - Fix for true newlines in appointments and phone strings. - Fix for VK code handling, switched to hard-coded values for better compatibility. - Implemented exit on answer call. - Added month number in appointment section. - Added alarm and reminder handling, Sunscape now silently lets the system handle priority windows. - Added nickname and middle name to phone format options. - Fixed phone handling, it should now get the caller contact properly. - Added localization settings. - Boosted startup speed. - Fixed day of week handling, it now displays correctly. - Added current battery level in percent on the battery gauge. - Fix for not locking while phone call active (uh, why didn't it work before?). - Sunscape Config now properly scales on SIP. - Changed unstable release system to YMDmh for better management. - Added drop-shadow for fonts. - Fixed centering. You can now have X = 0.
0.3 - Added new tool: Sunscape Config for editing Sunscape.xml directly and previewing changes. - Added true newline for phone callerID strings. - Pressure buildup / decay is now configurable. - Answer/Reject from pressure bar. - Made Sunscape Lock refrain from locking while in an active call. - Added locking of all keys except dpad-right for unlocking. - Contracted date and appointment thread to office thread. There was no point treating them separately, the same can be accomplished with a single thread. - It wasn't clear what Sunscape does when it gets a ring - now it is. :P - Eliminated Exception on incoming call from unknown contact or caller. - Added splash screen canceling. Sometimes it gets annoying to have a screen locker pop up in the middle of your work. Sunscape will now display a splash screen while it loads in the background. If you touch this screen it will exit immediately. - Added lock on wake up: If your ppc is suspended for a while and you wake it up you'll find Sunscape running :-) - Implemented counter for missed calls with icon in the traditional Sunscape way. - Gave up exponential progress (fancy but useless) and increased unlock speed. - Added DPAD-Right unlock and made it optional. - Added callerID support based on contact photos. - Fixed localisations, will now work on ROMs in languages other than English (thanks l3v5y). - Added time formats (12h clock now supported) as per request (thanks master athlon). - Removed some useless code.
0.2 - Fixed small bug to include a proper pressure point decay. - Changed the locking technique to lock after a certain amount of idle cpu time. This offers more flexibility and stability to the whole project and tries to move away from OEM. - Added multiple icons for different resolutions. - Handlers for incoming calls, Sunscape will not block your screen. - Major speed improvements. - Itsy-bitsy corrections to default Sunscape.xml file. - Fixed wrong time update / switched to get local time instead. - Switched to exponential growth. Will you be able to make this program work for Square screen devices. I've got a 240x240 screen resolution, and the bottom half og the program is missing :) Thanks, Mike. - Added support to scale to current resolution. - Added documentation to explain this anomaly. - Bumped down to CF 2.0. Alas, development should go up yet in this case I like it in reverse. CF 2.0 is still a "reference" point for mobile devices It's a hell of tedious work but as far as I can tell, the more lightweight, the better. - Changed pressure point handler. - Automatic centering on Y axis for Date, Time and Appointment. - Date format implemented. - Appointment format implemented. - Weather support from Yahoo implemented. - Made timers more configurable. - Removed some useless code. - Fixed some glitches with gadget updates. - Icon revamped.
