Agree with endolith One of the worst things about the pdf format is the inability to save notes (copy & paste) from some files. Author's support of DRM for "protected" PDF files is contrary to GPL. What do they think they are stopping??

This is a pretty good reader except for one awful "feature": It supports DRM of "protected" PDF files, and the author stubbornly refuses to make it optional. So you can't print PDFs for offline reading, and you can't copy text to the clipboard for pasting into Google translate, saving to your notes, quoting in a paper, etc. Open-source software with DRM is really hypocritical. Restricting users' freedom does not benefit anyone and is contrary to the purpose of the GPL. See defectivebydesign.org for more about how DRM harms society.
