OK// I figured out why the shortcut is not going. It points to Wndows/System32 folder, but with 64 Java installs in Windows/SysWOW64.

I keep getting this message when I use the link that was created on my desktop during the installation of Storybook.
To get storybook to work, I have to re-install it and open it when asked during the installation process.
I am using Windows Vista SP2 and have the most current version of Java.;
I am using "storybook_2.1.12_win32.exe" which I have downloaded to my D disk and from which I am...

Sorry for my poor English ...
I'm a StorYBook user from China and I found that StorYBook is exactly what I want for me to write a novel.
But I also found that StorYBook is hardly for me to use because of the lacking of supporting for Simplified Chinese.
Every time I try to type some words into StorYBook and save it,the StorYBook will crash immediately without any warning.
So I...

Beside OpenOffice, the format of increasingly popular Screenplay and Production suite Celtx is not too different from ODF (basically an archive with multiple XML or other documents)
If a feature or plugin/extension for Storybook was not accomplishable, then a separate project (either here or in a different OS portal) would be the logical result.
P.s.: A compatible implementation of...

This would be "reusable" characters across multiple projects from your description. If you split a story like "Diskworld" across multiple parts, you may get this already ;-)

I would consider Modularity even on a more general level.
E.g. having "Modules" for Storybook like they exist for various other applications (NetBeans, Eclipse, MoneyDance,...)

Hi. I've made an RPM spec file which means that, if it's distributed with Storybook, it can be used to make an RPM, which means that it will be easier for people on many Linux distributions to install it. Where do i submit this?.

First of all, let me say that this software is very much what I was looking for, so lets just get kicked off with a big "THANK YOU!".
Now, one addition that I think would be helpful if it could be added.
In the character section, if you could add organizations as a category that people and/or places could be affiliated with.
For example, a category that would let me say "101st airborne...

Vorrei proporre il seguente suggerimento;
1...

Maybe this is the same question as the synopsis question, but I am not sure:
Where do you normally describe the gist of the book? I have a story in my head and I put it in the notes of the Default Strand. But when I export, the notes aren't exported.
is there a diffferent way to do this that I am not aware of, of that I am using incorrectly?
Thanks,
L.
