Can't see plug-in in gimp

    Hi,

    I and running:
    Fedora C4
    Gimp 2.2.8
    Stitch 0.9.6

    I have Tried placing stitch_0.9.6.py in /myhomefolder/.gimp-2.2/plug-ins
    and
    /usr/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins

    and have chmod +x in both cases, but I cannot get it to appear in gimps Xtns menu.

    Am I doing something wrong? Is my version of gimp to new? Any ideas?
