StateGL++ is an abstraction layer hiding OpenGL implementation details such as stack depths and attribute settings and allowing pushing and popping of lights and materials. With StateGL you don't have to worry about GL_MAX_*STACK_DEPTH.

This first release includes a small subset of what will be contained in the complete project. Think of it as a taste test. It is already very useful for those of us who like pushing/popping OpenGL states more than then OpenGL implementation allows. So far there is a small and fast simple_stack class, some state classes and a nifty lightmanager. Try it out.
