Perl script run by cron on client behind firewall to maintain highly reliable auto restarting ssh tunnel with server outside firewall. Tunnel status reported via email and webpage. Authenticates with RSA keys. Maintains and rotates logfiles.
The ssh_tunnel home page has been created. It has complete setup information and sample pages of configuration files, emails, logfiles, and webpages.
The initial SourceForge release of ssh_tunnel has been made. The README gives enough information to understand how it works and how to install it. It is released as v3.29 because that's how long it has been in development.
