SportsPHool

Downloaded and installed this in a testing environment, this is a good application. I was looking for a pick'em game, and this has pretty much everything I wanted.

I've noticed that this is an old project, and there hasn't been any recent updates to the project. There's some recent activity on this forum, but the project owner doesn't seem to be around. So I got a few questions and comments:

- If the project owner _is_ still around, let me know. I'd be willing to contribute some time and code to the project. My background is mostly Java and C++, but I've tinkered around with some php recently. Since having kids I don't have a lot of spare time, but I could probably contribute a few hours a week.

- A feature I'm probably going to work on for my personal web site is a login adapter for various bbs's and cms's. For example, someone has a PHPBB2 board and wants the user to have one login/password for both the forum and the SportsPhool - and seamlessly go from one to the other using the forum's cookies and users table (if installed on the same site).

- Due to this being older code, it apparently generates a lot of notices on the latest version of PHP (I know how to turn off notices, but the code could be updated so that none are generated). I have limited php experience, I'd have to study up on the changes that would need to be made.

- IIS compatibility and the latest version of PHP. Not that important to me, and might be fixed if the code is updated (see above), but I doubt I ever get around to it. Just might help the project to have it working.

If anybody wants to share any mods, let me know. This is a nice project, it just needs some updates.
