Very slow scanning (I know problem; need fix)

    I read the message from sly007;

    I can confirm the slowness with outlook 2k as well. The problem as I see it is the built in clam scanner. It almost certainly conflicts with my normal virus scanner.

    Is there any way to disable the clam AV scanner???
    I certainly don't see any way in options....
