Source-Navigator is a source code analysis tool. With it, you canedit your source code, display relationships between classes and functions and members, and display call trees.
The only tool I use for for understanding existing code.

1. XRef not usable for large projects, the parser cbrowser2 slows down until it seems to end in an endless loop (full CPU, no I/O) independent of the projects cache sizes. 2. Doesn't build on Solaris 10 (GCC 4.2.4) due to linker errors of the db4 subproject's dynamic libraries against the standard libraries: ./.libs/libdb-4.6.so: undefined reference to `write@SUNW_0.9' ./.libs/libdb-4.6.so: undefined reference to `pread64@SUNW_1.2' ./.libs/libdb-4.6.so: undefined reference to `pwrite64@SUNW_1.2' ./.libs/libdb-4.6.so: undefined reference to `fcntl@SUNW_0.9' ./.libs/libdb-4.6.so: undefined reference to `select@SUNW_1.2' ./.libs/libdb-4.6.so: undefined reference to `read@SUNW_0.9' ./.libs/libdb-4.6.so: undefined reference to `pthread_self@SUNW_0.9' 3. And the project has no support configured.
