AUTHOR : Peter Wolf email : dougalite@gmail.com PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Copies photos from a source folder to a destination folder and organizes them according to date. So sub folders such as 2010/3/18 and 2009/4/23 may be produced. REQUIRED FILES SortPhotos.py Common.py install run INSTALLATION: You must be connected to the internet to install properly as packages are downloaded. Start a terminal.Make sure you are in the folder containing the files Run the install script.You may have to set permission for it to execute first. To set the permision for the install script to execute: chmod a+x ./install Alternatively you can set the permision to execute through the desktop by getting the properties of the file. To run install script: Type the following line in the terminal sudo ./install RUNNING THE PROGRAM First set permission for it to execute chmod a+x SortPhotos.py To run type python ./SortPhotos.py
