I'm consistently seeing an error dialog box - with no text in it - when SolVE tries to read an AMF0 shared object containing a long string. I'm guessing it's breaking when the string reaches 128 chars.
I had better luck with Alexis Isaac's Sol Editor: www.alexisisaac.net.

first .sol file I tried with solVE gave an error "unknown type" when opening attached file.
I guess its a new flash type as I know the app that produced it was created in late 2007.

I have seen this problem also. Not necessarily with larger files. It must be some kind of array indexing problem...

SolVE seems to have some kind of problem with larger .sol files. The errors can (and are usually) random, but are reproducable. As an example, look at the .sol file generated by the online game Bot Arena 3:

the .sol file will be located in:
/Macromedia/Flash...
