The Snes9x Python Launcher is a text/terminal based frontend for the Snes9x binary used in Linux. It supports many of the command line switches used by Snes9x, and helps to make it as easy to use on Linux as it is on Windows.

Well, its Christmas break, and I'm bored as hell. I suppose I may as well update this program, fix some stuff I know is broken, and possibly add some sort of GUI. I was working on that before I dropped it, but I fear the code for that section may be lost to the void.
My next release won't be for a while yet, since of the sheer amount of code I'm going to add. It will, however, will be a much more stable, and will probably be version 1.0, as it will have all the sound and graphic options from the readme. The next version, Joystick support will be added. Following that, support for cheats. Hopefully I'll have sufficient incentive to continue after that point, and use Tkinter to add a GUI, which would be really cool.
