SMILGen is a SMIL (and XML) authoring tool designed to ease the process of XML content creation. SMILGen understands XML syntax and handles the nesting, formatting and syntax of XML so that an author doesn't need to remember each quote and closing brace.

A number of major bug fixes from the last 0.9 version. A great deal of speed and performance improvements. Some UI improvements. New Documentation. Limited support for namespaces in smil. And some other minor improvements.

The source code for the 1.0 release of SMILGen has now been checked into cvs. The source code is located in the smilgen module. The documentation for SMILGen 1.0 has also been checked in and can be found in the documentation module.
