Smb4K is an advanced network neighborhood browser for KDE and a frontend to the programs of the Samba software suite. Its purpose is to provide a program that's easy to use and has as many features as possible.
This program makes very loud sounds on errors (seriously, it got me scared and cause ear pain). I cannot find an option to turn sound off. Cannot find initial basic instructions on how to use it.
I absolutely love Smb4k... it will not only browse your local network neighborhood (on my FreeBSD and Linux boxes... and my Solaris boxes too I believe) - but it will also mount shares, etc. and you can set it to auto-mount shares upon startup (and you can have Smb4k started automatically upon login, etc...) - so, overall, it's all I use for *nix <--> Windows Integration... LOVE IT!!!
