1st. Lenght of packet have a 2*sizeof(LongInt), not 4*SizeOf(LongInt) in command Channel Change (slingbox.c).
2nd. Users login name is 'guest', not 'user'. For that reason, users account can't be logged to Sling. Only as Admin.
Some other mistakes as properly logout commands missing, etc.

Hello.
I have a slingbox since few weeks and I found your nice plugin while searching for a solution to mirror my Sling stream with my server in order to be able to watch it on more than one computer/device at the same time, I am not really interested by recording features. And that would be nice to be able to use all the cool features VLC purposes.
I tried to record with SLR and stream...

I have just purchased a Slingbox SOLO with firmware 1.2.18 and have been trying to make the VLC plugin work.
After some difficulty, I finally tried the admin password, and checked the admin box (as opposed to view-only login) and it worked.
If "Admin" is unchecked, it does not connect regardless of whether it's the "view only" password or "admin" password entered. There is no error...

Would you be willing to update the plugin to support the SlingBox Pro-HD? It seems that you are just missing the new "HD" entry for the resolution in the VLC plug-in. This would be a killer feature to add.

It seems this may not be a problem with the Recorder.exe,
but rather the the SlingBox itself.
You need to wait for the SlingBox to reset connection maybe?.

No matter what the 'AudioBitrate' setting in recorder.txt is set to,
it does not affect the audio bitrate the video is recorded at.
It is always at 32.
AudioBitrate = 96 # 16,20,32,40,48,64,96

Recorder.exe (beta4)
cksum: 4085862864 40960 Recorder.exe
System: Windows XP Service Pack 3
recorder.txt all setup correctly.
Recorder.exe run 3 times, within 1 minute.
Run1 runs OK
Run2 complains about Lost Connection
Run3 complains about password, but probably connection errors too.
If I wait a minute or two, then run Recorder.exe again, it works OK.
So maybe it is not...

I have made the Recorder compile under Linux, command line parameters do not work (as indicated in the source), but Recorder does not work, it gives
$ ./Recorder-elf
Slingbox Recorder Beta 1 by checksumcoder (checksumcoder@users.sourceforge.net)
Can't log on slingbox(wrong password ? or need/not need admin option ?) use -H
anyone has this working?.
