Hi,

There were no reports about any security issue in SiteBar that would lead to user rights escalation. The server only accepts uploaded files and puts them into database it does not exec any external commands. Its is rather standard PHP application. Did you really notice change of the IP or did it only stop working? I personally would not join those two incidents, but please keep us up to date if you find anything suspicious.
