Simple is awesome for Android. If you are writing an Android app then this should be the library that you use for your XML needs. I believe that so much that I wrote a blog post on the matter: http://massaioli.homelinux.com/wordpress/2011/04/21/simple-xml-in-android-1-5-and-up/

looks nice but the provided examples are not complete . tutorial is not acurate enough for me.
f.i. I got stuck with this cade that I can not get to work.
I leave it for now and try an other frame work
