How can I aply a patch?
I've instaled the initrd-SL4_0.8.1-1.bin and I need to use the pcmcia, bunt it do not work, the module pcmcia_core.o and ds.o does not exists. I think the patch patch-2.4.18-rmk7-jpm4.gz solves this problem, but I don't know how to aply it.
Please, help....

Hi everybody,
Is posible connect the simpad to the PC with Activesync? are there any FAQ?
When I connect, WXP detect a new USB device "SA1100 USB NIC" but I can't find any driver and the "simpad.inf" does not work; It said that there is no driver in the specified location, is it normal?

Bootldr, the alternative bootloader from handhelds.org is available for testing. Many people asked for it, now here it is.
Be aware that you might need a JTAG adapter if anything breaks.

You alle have done very fine work!
I installed the opie image and was astonished.
Now I have a nice new simpad!
But in the standard image there is not much software. I tried to connect via pcmcia ethernet to my DSL modem. But with no effort. Where can I find the rp-pppoe packet to use the ppp protocol?
And how can I activate the kernel options config_ppp and config_ppp_async.

Hi!
I uploaded Opie-0.8.1 into my Simpad SL4 but in the middle it stopped and won't go further. Now, when I reset the device even though I request serial download with serload it doesn't recognize it, the device just says "No serial download request" and it's back in monitor. But there should be an "y" option that means "Erase Flash"... Should be, but it isn't...
