• SiFiEx 0.4 released

  SiFiEx is small PHP driven tool to up- and download files to a webserver to easily share them with friends or collegues. It includes themes support, translations for the interface (currently english and german available) and a notification via E-Mail after a successfull upload. The new version brings the possibility to change filename after they were uploaded and to send notification emails even at any time after the upload. Also the per user settings for the displayed languages (english and german included) are now available (and not just only the chosen ones in the general settings). This is a major upgrade but the only thing to make the upgrade is unpacking it over your installation over SiFiEx 0.3 or 0.2.

• SiFiEx 0.2-Beta4 fixes setup problems in Beta3

  SiFiEx is small PHP driven tool to up- and download files to a webserver to easily share them with friends or collegues. It includes themes support, translations for the interface (currently english and german available) and a notification via E-Mail after a successfull upload. Beta 4 fixes a bad bug which appeard in Beta 3 - the automatic FTP-setup didn't work at all because of a stupid typo - sorry for that. Beta 4 also adresses a security leak - so you should upgrade your installation even if you hadn't problems with the installation. The release 0.2 release comes with a complete new setup which makes it now much easier to see the things that have to be done (changing permissions) on an all new setup page. If all permissions are already granted as needed it will just install without manual work. If there are not enough permissions it will try in a first step to set them themself and if this fails you get the possibility to let SiFiEx change them using FTP if you supply you login data to SiFiEx. As a last step if everything before just didn't reach the goal it shows you exactly what to do to change the permissions manually using your FTP-Client. Also includes the changes of 0.1.1 - a version we released without writing an extra news entry. 0.1.1 includes many new classes and IDs for more possibilities to skin SiFiEx and some tweaks in the display itself.
