SnapTake is designed to sit in the notification area, and upon the press of a user defined hotkey will take a screen capture, upload the image to a FTP server, and (optionally) set the clipboard to the image's URL

Version 0.4 of the program will be released this upcoming weekend, and with it a name change will occur. The new name for this project is SnapTake, but the functionality remains the same as it was under SICAT. The new version will likely release either Sunday or Monday.
Here's what's being planned for the next version of SICAT: * Code Reorganization - Currently, the code base of SICAT makes it very hard other projects to incorporate the underlying structure. The existing code will be broken up into a MVC-type structure to allow for greater reusability. * Graphical Installer - Using an installer will allow for greater functionality to be included. Examples of what may be provided as options are: Ability to register as system service to start on startup, Context menu option to send existing image files on your computer to the specified server, * First Run Wizard - When running the program for the first time, a wizard will appear to allow for entry of the FTP configuration information so users don't have to open up the config window before being able to use the program * Configuration option to not keep a local copy of the image on your computer
SICAT 0.3 has been released. With this version, users can now upload to FTP servers running on ports other than 21 and also make sure of the Ctrl, Atl, and Shift leys as modifiers on hotkeys. There is also a slightly reworked log view.
* Ability to use Ctrl, Alt, and Shift as modifiers on hotkey * Ability to upload to ports other than 21 * Tweaked log view
* Ability to use Ctrl, Alt, and Shift as modifiers on hotkey * Ability to upload to ports other than 21 * Tweaked log view
After a couple days of testing and fixing a few bugs which appeared, SICAT 0.2 has been released. If upgrading from 0.1, please either delete the old settings file or rename it as 0.2 uses a different setting file structure and is incompatble with the settings file of 0.1. As for 0.3 and beyond, these are the current outstanding features slated for the next release: * Upload to FTP servers on ports other than 21 * Reworked log view * Hotkeys that include modifier keys (CTRL, ALT, and Shift) If there is anything else you would like to see included in this program, please submit it to the Feature Requests tracker.
I have reached what I am calling SICAT 0.2-RC1 on my computer and will be testing it with some friends over the next few days fixing bugs and applying a few final tweaks if necessary. If all goes well, expect the public release of 0.2 sometime next week. Here is the change log up to this point: * Condensed to single executable (Hotkey can be changed from within program) * Added in greater control of image capture/naming * Executable has icon to match tray icon * New settings file format (incompatible with old releases!!)
* Ability to use Ctrl, Alt, and Shift as modifiers on hotkey * Ability to upload to ports other than 21 * Tweaked log view
