• Bugs? & Slowdown

  I've noticed on a few computers I've tried running this off of, that there seems to be an issue with the control we use for the browser. This will need to need to be checked into later, and onced fixed it should work on most every comptuer from what I'm hoping. Blathering, Also with the holiday weeks being arround most everyone has been busy including myself plus I am now working, so getting free time on the computer lately has been a delicacy thus the project has been haulted for the time being, as well as for me to catch up programming wise with my partner in crime : ). I might also have to set this project back a bit when I do get some free time because I need to work on a project that my teacher wants me to try and do, though I'm not even sure if he knows what he wants :P Also if you'd like to test the pre beta builds you can use this link, https://sourceforge.net/project/platformdownload.php?group_id=246549 If you have any issues yourself, please post, email, or contact me; hopfully we will have a good bug report system sometime and we might want to get a gmail set up for it :).

• Rev23 & more?!

  There is a new somewhat "intro window" to this now. We are finally stepping into the age of customization, though there are minimal Settings at the moment, but there will be more to come soon! Took me a while to figure out how I wanted to go about it code-wise, but I think there is a good system worked out.   12/15/08 - added Frist Time Run Window - added Class_Settings build as needed few functions to read/write implemented already - modified the Main window build, region wise, and loading - tried adding the newtab pannel to the end of the tabs, but failed; search code for "NEW TAB ON TABS" - NewTab() function added - Pannel New tab might be obsolete already :P ? Not fully function just a jib

  12/13/08 - rebuilt "makewindow" function - moved the makewindow function into it's own partial class "window control" - New Background Tab is working now - New window works - Sourceforge page under help now launches up a page to the source forge main page - Fixed Status bar, wasn't working correctly (had else w/o checking anything else auto kicked into hybrid hide everytime might have some redudancy now... or might have changed different from what you wanted should probally only have it set to show/hide everytime the on off is invoked, but for hybrid it should change if the progress is done. - Added a fraction of current/max next to status bar for now - Don't multiply current progress by 10 Fixed :D 11/25/08 - Updated General Layout Of Settings - Concepts and ideas in settings - added heart icon for the one day favorites list/auto complete - added a copy to clipboard button - when you click the word address, it pastes url from clipboard to it. 11/24/08 - Added Hybrid Status Bar Mode - Fixed the width with the address bar - Added New Program Icon - Added "No Scroll Bar Mode" 12/03/08 - Rewrote Sharp in a new project, - Made a new SVN repo (https://sharp.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/sharp) - Split the Thought Pad into Notes, Ideas, Todo, Updates, and Misc - Removed lots of images from Icons/PNG/ because thats not where we want "theme" images - Made a Theme folder, please put USED theme images in here (Unused images are not necessary) - Added lots of menu items, removed the "Tab" menu item - Added dynamic tab and browser creation / control - First tab is created in Main_Load using AddTab - Placed all controls in a toolStripContainer control (Making it easier to control everything, including sidebars !) - Fixed Back/Forward/Reload/Stop icons - Lots more changes I forgot, hahaha 12/04/08 - Updated Sharp to use the Mozilla ActiveX Control - Fixed some minor tabbing issues - Better arranged the Todo list 12/08/08 - Renamed some variables, controls, functions, etc. so they are more specific - Changed the URL text box out for a combo box - Few other structure changes - Added a simple ini class - Sharp now starts up with a homepage, w00t 12/11/08 - Added a splash screen 12/12/08 - Commented out splash screen for now - Added full screen function - Added SingleApplication class (will only let one Sharp.exe run)

• Splash Screen; Go Shonnie!!! xD

  Not many if any browsers have a splash screen, probably because they want it up then and there, but it might actually have some use to it, and space out load of work instead of processing it all at once. Congrats to Shonnie for making this all possible. Supports the most advanced transparent png's, down to the simplistic other picture formats. Option wise, this will be something that will be tog-able in the settings (on/off), we may also allow the user to select an image they'd like it to show for the splash, but this is not yet confirmed, though if our mission statement is simplicity, with advanced customization this falls right under the "customization" though keeping our logo as a start keeps integrity; represent! Might use base gfx for wall paper, but the splash screen image is yet to be decided : ).

• Beta Wall Paper and gfx

  In screen shots there is an image that is natively sized at 1280x1024 for a desktop wall paper. It's very simplistic right now, but after I talk with Shonnie we'll have more ideas on where we are going with this :) You can snatch this file @ http://thesite.mine.nu:8080/Sharp.png

• First news !

  Jd (PrivT) has joined the team, and I finally got 'round to making a download package. Nothing fancy yet, as we're still early in the development stages and don't have much time to work on it :P
