There's a good change it's a .zipx file, in which case it'll afaik only open with Winzip (v12+).
If not , and if it's a relatively common filetype, then the first dozen or so bytes of the file should
provide enough data on what type of file it is. Or could just try opening it directly in VLC or Universal Viewer.
