Just wanted a simple, open source streaming program to listen to my local radio station. Tried a bunch of fancy apps that almost brought me to tears. ServeStream just works, and it even supports my bluetooth headset controls. Sweet! Thank you!

Works great with android 4.0.4 and MP3/OGG streams, thanks! Also fast and nice support from developer!

Excellet for listening to OGG streams and icecast/ices radio. Only catches are 1) sometimes you have to kill it by going to "services" in android, it doesn't die when you exit or stop the running application. 2) I had to disable the feature to keep the phone from locking (labeled "Keep screenfrom dimming or going to sleep"). The app will lock up if this feature is enabled on my Samsung Stratosphere.

This is great for m3u lists. Unfortunately, there seems to be no way to quit the app. I can't even kill it with super app killer, it just stays running. (Samsung Vibramt). I want to give this five stars in the market, because it's the only player that has played my lists without an issue, but I can't turn it off!

To clarify for users remarking that it won't close or that they have to kill it: you must use the preferences menu in the app to select 'Stop' and you will notice the notification icon (and service) disappear right away, then closing the app really closes it.
