• Seeqpod Downloader Development

  Hi there just an update on the project, A new version of the software is coming this week or next week. I have been very busy lately going through finals at college, making development hard. The next version is almost complete and already has a lot of improvements. The next version will include: -Better download management (Listbox views with download status for each file) -Localization Support -Easier-to-use UI -Complete source-code commenting The version may have (depending on time constraints): -Auto-Link selection features ->Includes removal of timeout feature (not needed) -Complete character set support (Unicode) Here is a screen shot of the new interface so far. • Seeqpod Downloader v0.8 BETA Released

  Seeqpod downloader is an application that hooks onto seeqpod open API xml standards to populate lists and allow for easy downloding of crawled music files. In beta stages, feedback is appreciated. Downloading: Once a download starts, it will appear in the Downloading dropdown. Selecting a download will pull the progress bar up for that download. Program is capable of multiple downloads at a time. Once a download is finished, it is moved to the download completed dropdown. Options: Validate Links - Checks for link operation before adding to list of files. Depends on timeout variable. Takes much longer to search, but will eliminate junk download links in results. Timeout - Works in conjunction with Validate Links; higher timeouts gets more good links but takes longer to search. Music Folder - Music folder MUST be selected to use application (will ask on first load also). The program automatically reads file ID3 tag information to place the file in sub-directories organized like ($musicfolder/artist/album/title.mp3). If no album exists, the program will skip that inner folder.
