The Script Collection steps into action right after your distro has been installed with a minimal setup. This making it more matching to advanced (or advanced beginners) users. Its offered to download/install with 2 options: Either the tarball or the RPM package. Further, currently its only tested on Fedora distributions F15 or newer/higher.
It is written in BASH to offer one to easy fix any issues that should occour if one has the skill to. But more over, this way it is way more flexible and portable. It runs well at the very early stage of runlevel 1, this making it a very helpfull tool to either tweak (aug/sept 2012) or fix (early 2013) your Linux based system. It expects either root access or the user to be in /etc/sudoers, for certain tasks like installing or changing system files.
As of now, April 2012, it offers a guided cli installation of a list-file based selection. The next additions will be to check for the existence of $HOME/bin and lists it in the menu.
