User Reviews

  • Scrollout F1, an open-source email security solution, is designed to protect email servers from spam, viruses, malware, and other threats that can be transmitted via email. A complete arrangement incorporates spam sifting, antivirus examining, IP notoriety separating, and other email security highlights. The ease of use of Scrollout F1 is one of its primary advantages. Customers can easily design and manage their email security settings thanks to the product's straightforward and simple online connection point. Additionally, due to its support for the SMTP, POP3, and IMAP email protocols, Scrollout F1 is compatible with a wide range of email clients and servers. The high-level security elements of Scrollout F1 are one more benefit. The item consolidates an extent of solid security instruments, for instance, antivirus checking, spam isolating, and IP reputation filtering, and that is just a glimpse of something larger. In addition, Scrollout F1 can be integrated with other security tools, such as firewalls and interruption location frameworks, to provide a significantly stronger defence against threats posed by email. Furthermore, Scrollout F1 is profoundly adjustable. The product can be custom-made to fit an extensive variety of email security use cases since clients can modify its way of behaving and settings to meet their particular necessities. Additionally, because Scrollout F1 is open-source, users can personalize and modify the software's code to include any necessary new functions or features. In any case, it's important to note that Scrollout F1 may not be as robust or feature-rich as other email security solutions. It is plausible that the product doesn't follow all of the latest email conventions and security principles, and its customization choices might be restricted in contrast with those of different choices. In general, Scrollout F1 is a comprehensive and extremely useful email security solution that gives users access to a wide range of advanced security features and customization options. It is a great option for users who need to protect their email servers and clients from spam, viruses, and other threats that are transmitted via email. However, users should be aware of its limitations and think about other options for more complex email security requirements.
  • Even if installation was made in 2018, totally valid for 2022. Was able to setup in hours due to some pieces of software does not come with Debian9. Switched from commercial filtering to Scrollout & it was an unbelievable experience. With few tweaking it is catching almost all spam & I still cannot believe this. Spam training is very quick & it works as it says. Appliance does not installing & I installed Debian9 installed software separately according to guide. Thanks @mariusegologan
  • Hi guys! This software is awesome...
  • I have a few virtual machines running ScrollOut F1 for years. In general, the product works ok as described, no issues with installation nor operation. I have nice script to easy duplicate the configuration. Why multiple installations? Often we have incoming email bursts and the server IP address is flagged, limiting the ability to check RBL and other services. I noticed some complains about features not working: they are not part of the products, third party need third party support! This is a nice integration frontend, dealing with a complex internal configuration. This is not for the DIY unless your have some Linux, Debian or Ubuntu experience.

  • Hi guys, This project is awsome ; nothing to envy to SMG (Brightmail) and others dinosaurs ... Free of charge and ... Marius is The Man!!! Thanks again for this tremendous job of Yours!! Gregory PS: Just two changes, DKIM accepts 1024 bits (my registrar ...) and compelled to use port 636 to bind with AD ; otherwise a modification for ldap in the config file.
