With Scriptio in use in several production web sites, the status of Scriptio is now "production"! Several new features and bug fixes were added to this release.
A new version of Scriptio is available that improves both the user experience and the development environment. Scriptio now supports new audio controller skins, Opera browser support, and an Eclipse plug-in for facilitating script development. Scriptio is an open source framework for presenting animations and educational content to deliver a rich online experience. Audio soundtracks are also supported for leading sound formats such as QuickTime, Flash, Ogg Vorbis, AU, and WAV. Using Scriptio, presentations that rival Macromedia Flash quality using this open source solution can be created and added to web pages, bypassing proprietary software fees and web browser Flash blockers.
