We need help! Both Bones and me (the two most active developers over the last few months) are finding less and less time to update Scribia. Fresh blood is needed! Eternal fame and glory are up for grabs! Contact scribia-developers@sourceforge.net for info and help. Thanks!
We need help! Both Bones and me (the two most active developers over the last view months) are finding less and less time to update Scribia. Fresh blood is needed! Eternal fame and glory are up for grabs! Contact the scribia-developers mailing list for help. Thanks! Submit bugs and request new features at http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=6424 Changed since last release: - Fixed a bug where exile talk starting with a number wasn't ignored correctly. This caused a number of problems, including incorrect clanning and sharing times. - Count number of times another exile agrees to train with us. - Count coins earned from raffling things away. - Fixed bug where incorrect trainer evaluation was recorded after bowing. - More MacOS X fixes. - Counting new trainers: Leladar, Asteshesha.
You may have noticed that the latest Scribia releases did not include an 68k build. The reason is that CodeWarrior contains a limitation in the 68k C compiler that limits the number of cases a "switch" statement can include. The Scribia scanner (auto-generated by the flex scanner-generator) contains one huge "switch" statement that CodeWarrior refuses to compile. There is no workaround, the scanner cannot be split up. This problem does at least exist under CW6. CW7 does not even include support for 68k anymore. None of the current Scribia developes runs CW5. If you have CW5 (or earlier) installed and are interested in a 68k build, please compile from source. No guarantees, but it might just work. Please contact the scribia-developers mailing list for further info on this, or to report results. Thanks, Lark
Changed since last release: - Allow editing of fields! Wohoo! - If you want to add and hand-enter a trainer, beast, item or exile that isnt in your list or logs, you can use the "Add Field to Table" dialog in the Scribia menu. - New 68k build. - New Carbon build. GUI is probably not Aqua-friendly, but it should run native, in theory. [Not Ready Yet] - Scribia got a race change (thanks to Sor for a great icon set!) - Added Flexi menu-views for Beasts and Items (NUKE YOUR SCRIBIA PREFS) There are some extra items in the menus for beasts and exiles that are not displayed by default, if you select a different stat to view from the popup, scribia remembers your selection. - initial support for mandible extraction (counts as skinning) - support new skinning/extraction message including critter name - correctly count Untrainus (only those for the character, not others) - Document window opens faster. - Fixed display of total time clanning in the GUI. - Fixed backgrounds of numbers drawing in white. - Scan number of boosts per exile for mystics.
