• An alpha version is currently being tested

  After some month of development, a first alpha version was created. You can view the result at http://forum.topflood.com/module-scooper.html The soft will have the following features: - custom plugins for specific websites - database plugins with predefined plugin for site like phpBB, pnforum ... - content filtering (indeed, we have to be carefull with xml files) Nevertheless, we know some little issue because google coop web server don't accept big files, we will try to find a way to improve that in the future. A website explaining the architecture of the project is currently under construction. The site wil contain some tutorial, explaining how to create plugins for customs site, or simply how to install available plugins.

  Sco-oper allows you to generate dynamically a Google Co-op xml file. Google Co-op is a service of Google which allows you to display subscribed Link in the Search Engine result. http://sco-oper.webnetter.us/ What is Google Co-op ? Google Co-op is a platform that enables you to customize the web search experience for users of both Google and your own website. Subscribed Links allow you to add custom search results to Google search for users who trust you. You can display links to your services for your customers, provide news and status information updated in near-real-time, answer questions, calculate useful quantities, and more. What is sco-oper ? Sco-oper is a project which allow you to generate the customized xml file needed by this service. This xml file is a url submitted by the developpers to the service. In order to be as generic as possible, the developper have to generate a plugins for his WebSite. This Plugin retrieve the information needed by the script and return an array formated in specific way(for instance array("title","text","url")). Most of the time, this plugin do a call to database, and return the needed informations, but we can imagine that it can use a Web Service. What are the technologies used for the Framework ? For the UI, smarty are used with an advance cache system. For the database part, AdoDB is used (for my part, i will test the plugin with mysql 5) The language is php 5. For the moment, the project is still in a planning phase, but i hope we will be able to release an alpha release around christmas ...
