Error: $./samtools: /lib64/libz.so.1: version `ZLIB_1.2.3.3' not found (required by ./samtools) How can I fix this problem? THX

Brilliant idea, code is not robust. Doesn't check return status of malloc, other libraries. One shouldn't have to use gdb to understand an expected error.
