SAFER stands for Simple Agent For Email Routing. In short, the program allows for a single domain name's incoming (port 25) email services to be split amoung multiple servers without the need to change DNS.

The first source release of SAFER(Simple Agent For Email Routing) has been released. The code is still Alpha, which means bugs, but it functions enough to check it out. SAFER is a program to allow you to split your users on a domain name among several email servers without having to edit DNS. SAFER will support multiple domains, and is very easy to configure. Since it is currently Alpha code, bug reports are greatly accepted throught he project summary page. http://www.sourceforge.net/projects/safer/
