I know there isn't all that much to configure (yet), but I would suggest that configurable options be place in /etc/rwsecure.conf rather than in the header of the script. The only option in the header of the script should be the path to the .conf file. :-)

Also, as suggested in another thread, perhaps there should be an option to base bans against either failed attempts from the same ip, or failed attempts from the same ip and for the same username. (It seems that v.04 assumes the latter.)
