RTSS is intended for modeling and simulation of robotic manipulators in the Scilab/Scicos environment. Inspired by the Robotics Toolbox for MATLAB by Peter Corke, RTSS provides many functions that are useful in the field of robotics.

  • Integration in Scicos, enabling development of high-fidelity robot models and control systems in a single environment.
  • Compatibility with a broad range of code generators available for Scicos, that makes it possible to develop standalone applications (controllers) which can be used, in particular, in real-time applications.
  • Demonstration scripts which show how the toolbox can be productively used in studying robotics.
  • Online documentation in English, integrated with Scilab's help browser.
