RPM Wizard is an easy-to-use installation tool for RPM packages. Release 0.7 is an important milestone for this project. Following three development releases and over six months of development since the last major release, the RPM Wizard project is proud to announce the 0.7 release. This release is the first stable release to include the feature to install from a list of packages on the distribution CD:s. RPM Wizard is now fully internationalized and includes translations to French, German, Spanish, Russian, Dutch, Finnish and Swedish. A lot of bugs have been fixed in this release and RPM Wizard is now more stable than ever. A lot of thanks to the translators Berndt Soderstrom, Grigory Bakunov, Christian Marker, Ludootje, Romo VIU-BERGES and Manuel Monteserin. RPM Wizard is a project that tries to make installing easier for users new to Linux and RPM while also being an efficient tool for more advanced users. It includes features such as automatic dependency handling using a premade database of the content of the distribution CDs, the option to put a shortcut on the desktop and starting the program after the installation has finished.
