RPMinator is a Carbon MacOS X application for getting information about and extracting files from Red Hat Package Manager (.rpm) files. The aim is to eventually make RPMinator a combination of decent standalone app and GUI frontend for RPM.

21/01/2003 - RPMinator 1.5 released Changes * RPM logo picture now drawn with transparent background using CopyBits instead of DrawPicture * An all-new tabbed interface which allows you to view header info, description and contents list * An Aqua preferences panel is now present, allowing you to configure certain aspects of the RPMinator interface * Quartz text now used everywhere except in the Summary and Description text fields * RPMinator now has an active About RPMinator menu item listing contributors * It is now possible to extract a file from the Files list using the Extract button instead of a menu item * RPMinator displays an indeterminate progress window when opening RPM packages * Switched entirely over to the Carbon Event Handling model * Decreased dependence on resources * Improved performance getting package contents list by piping extracted cpio file instead of rpm2cpio output
