The RPG++ Class Library, a C++ library used to rapidly develop RPG's, MUDs, or other games that require advanced NPC intelligence and networking capabilities, has just been released at version 0.1 Alpha. This is a working release but only a subset of the requirements (as found in the System Design Document) have been met. This release is a proof-of-concept and peer revision, and as such, is expected to contain bugs and incomplete items. Developers are welcomed and encouraged to submit any bugs or features via the Source Forge bug & feature request mechanisms. The 0.1 Alpha revision can be found in binary format for OS X 10.2.x (GCC 3.x ABI), Win32 (using Visual C++ 6.0), and in source packages. Documentation is still minimal but is included in the packages. An SDK documentation package is forthcoming. All packages are available for download from the Source Forge project site at URL: http://sourceforge.net/projects/rpgcl The RPG++ Class Library home page is at URL: http://rpgcl.sourceforge.net/ Please see the project page and home page for more detailed information. Further, you may choose to participate in the Source Forge forums or email the author directly.
