Rover is a Perl package that provides a means of executing commands on remote machines via SSH, Telnet, or Rsh. Connections are made and then managed using Expect for Perl. A distinct advantage of Rover is its ability to process many hosts in parallel.

Rover is a Perl program that that provides a means of executing commands on remote servers via SSH, Telnet, or Rsh. This latest release provides a new OO method of calling Rover. Two interfaces are provided, rover and rovergtk, a command line and Gtk2 interface. Rover can execute complex commands compiled in rulesets, or quick one time commands, all in parallel using threads on top of Perl.
