Rosegarden 11.06 Alpha Release for Windows
This is a first packaging of a Windows build of Rosegarden. It has more limited functionality
than the official 11.06 build to whit:
- Only very basic MIDI out functionality
- Hardcoded MIDI out instrument (Windows GM Synth)
- No Audio or MIDI IN and no plugins
Also you may notice that some of features just don't work or are missing.
This is a first release of a mingw/Qt creator build of the 11.06 source code. Please provide
feedback positive or negative on this release or the installer to either:
rosegarden-devel@lists.sourceforge.net
or:
rich@masticate.com
The more feedback, the more likely any more work gets done on it.
PREREQUISITES
-------------
1. You'll need to install the pthreads library:
ftp://sourceware.org/pub/pthreads-win32/pthreads-w32-2-8-0-release.exe
The DLLS in the extracted "Pre-built.2\lib" directory should be copied to:
C:\Program Files\Rosegarden
2. Also please download the three font files (.ttf extension) from this directory and install them
by right clicking on them -> Install.
